First of all, I'd like to say that "I like rice that tastes nice."
Oh............. I assumed you wanted to know who I am.

My life began as an avid book reader. It's funny because
my mom thought I was going to be a lawyer or something
because I loved to read when I was a kid. But, it really was
the pictures in the books that made me so obsessed. You
can imagine what a letdown I was when my mom found out.
But it is because of my mom that I kept drawing.

I remember I drew this one picture of a dinosaur dude getting kicked out of a restaurant
because he didn't have enough money to pay for food. It sounds lame, but it really caught my
mom's attention and she praised me on my art and creativity for the very first time and it felt so
good I wanted to keep doing it. I think that's how it went in the beginning and it just grew out of
proportion. Comics was a big thing for me, it started out from Dragon Ball and then it went berserk
after that.

It wasn't the books that brought me down the path of Animation though but the games I loved
playing: Final Fantasy, Samurai Shodown, Street Fighter, Xenogears, Shadow of Colossus and a
lot of other games.

I remember spending hours upon hours of pausing Street Fighter Alpha in the middle of a fight
just to see the animations and how everything looked in mid-motion or when I just stared at the
horse run in Shadow of Colossus without even looking where I was going.  I wanted to be that
person who worked on all the future games and animations that I loved. I want to inspire and be
inspired, to do what I love..... And get PAID for it! But, uh, mostly because it's what I love doing.

Here's a fun interview I did for Anime News Network regarding the stuff I did for King of RPGs.
